SPG DATA 3D is a precise, three-dimensional measurement tool based on image processing technology. We customize completely each SPG DATA 3D system according to your application requirements and deliver them configured to your various needs including single-measuring stations, multi-station systems sharing the application server, portable measuring tools, or using any configuration that meets your demands.
The Principle >
One or more cameras take images of an object. Your application requirements determine the position, type and number of cameras required. Processing the images generates three-dimensional point (x-y-z) coordinates, which enables the creation of a 3D model using the known x-y-z coordinates for each point of interest. For featureless objects—plain, or similar surfaces—SPG DATA 3D creates points of interest by projecting structured white, or laser light over an object's surface.

The Software >
SPG DATA 3D system is an open structure. The software is not dependent on any particular hardware. The system uses any type of camera that can provide the required image quality. The software controls all light source(s) and mechanical moving components (turntables, linear stages, etc.).
The Result >
SPG DATA 3D system always gives you the information you need, from simple Go-No-Go-Feedback processing to sophisticated comparisons between measured (physical) parts with nominal specifications, tolerances and CAD-files. SPG DATA 3D also presents both graphic and text reports for measurement results and deviation analyses.
